Death touches every life.

Sometimes it arrives through the loss of someone we love. Sometimes it comes to us through the closing of a chapter: divorce, career change, identity shift for example. Anything that leaves us leaving one phase and transitioning to another.

The Death Academy exists to help us meet these thresholds with greater understanding and compassion.

Here you'll find education, conversations, rituals, and practices that honor both physical death and the many symbolic deaths that shape a life.
